This patient came to us with chief complaint of bleeding every time she brushed her teeth or flossed. Patient had composite veneers done by another office and they were all overbulked under her gums. Patient was told she needed to have her bite opened to show more of her lower teeth and needed new veneers and crowns to be made. The treatment tooth 6 months long and patient was thrilled with the result. Now she was showing correct amount of teeth in her smile along with proper bite vs deep overbite.
This patient started grad school in New York and in her first semester her bridge that was done in China broke. After compreheniseve evaluation with CBCT and xray it was determined that we were not able to save her upper bridge and her lower bridge had severe decay under every critical tooth holding the bridge. Luckly patient had adequate native bone in the areas that the teeth were missing and in one visit all the upper teeth were extracted and new implants were placed with new set of temporary teeth. During her Thanksgiving break we had planned the same procedure for the lower arch and patient had stable bite and temporary teeth for period of 4 months. Patient received her final teeth during her next time off which was late spring. Throughout the entire time patient never left our office or went back to school without teeth. Her case was a slam dunk and our lab and prosthodontist delivered an amazing natural smile. She is headache free and does not have to worry about her teeth breaking.
This patient had a partial in the upper jaw and failing crowns lower jaw. Patient had very thin bone genetically and due to her underlining illness she also had severe case of dry mouth. Patient was told she would need extensive surgery in the maxilla to have implants, but the lower jaw can have dental Implants to support new set of teeth. Patient decided to go back to her country, and they ended up removing all her teeth and could not place any implants. She had two ill-fitting dentures and constant sourness in her mouth. New work up was done, and patient had 4 implants placed in the lower jaw with new fix teeth same day. Our team of experts made her new denture and lower fixed zirconia bridge that looked like her original teeth and patient was so thrilled to have a natural smile back.
This patient had severe periodontal disease
Which had caused flaring of her natural teeth. Multiple missing teeth along with failing bridge. Patient wanted white teeth but also long lasting smile. Patient was evaluated for full mouth implant restoration for the upper jaw and implant bridge for the lower teeth. She was very involved with final design of teeth and it was very important for her to show gum ( pink porcelain) above her front teeth. Our lab matched the pink porcelain perfectly with her natural gum color and she was thrilled to have full set of teeth and balance bite. Patient comes regularly for cleaning to insure her smile does not go down hill again .
This patient had a open bite and multiple broken root tips in the upper jaw and missing molars in the lower jaw. He wanted very white clean sharp teeth that would also address his open bite. Our team went right to work and we delivered 8 implant in the upper jaw to support full set of teeth and veneered the lower teeth with two implants on each side to give him full set of teeth for chewing. He could not believe he had a normal bite and on top of it when ever he walk in he was all smiles. He finally started to smile big again and show his teeth and back to eating hard food and chewing steak like he use to. Everyone has their own reason why they want a smile makeover and the job of our team is to listen to what our patient want and deliver.
This patient had large composite done on her upper and lower teeth even though she had implants in the upper jaw to support her molars. Her chief complaint was that she was tiered of the gaps opening between her teeth and the shade of her teeth. Her daughter was getting married and was inquiring about her option. Luckly we had a year to work on her case. Our comprehensive examination showed that she had severe periodontal disease around her natural teeth and they did not have a good prognosis. We decided to place 6 implants in the lower jaw and make a 4 unit implant bridge for her top 4 teeth and redo all the old implant crowns to have a uniform color and at the same time address her bite which was a at the same time. We finished the entire smile makeover under 6 months. Her biggest regret was that she did not do this many years ago.
