Dr. Navid Rahmani is a Board Certified Periodontist and dental implant specialist. He is an internationally recognized implantologist and oral surgeon and is among the best-in-class dental implant specialists in NYC. At the New York Dental Implants Center, he is committed to providing his patients with a high-qualitty foundation for fixed (permanent) or removable replacement teeth as well as individualized dental care.
Dr. Navid Rahmani graduated Cum Laude from New York University before receiving his doctoral degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Rahmani then chose to remain at Stony Brook for an additional three years to become certified in the specialty of periodontology. At Stony Brook, he was awarded the John Oppie McCall Award for demonstrating exemplary dedication and proficiency in the art and science of Periodontology.
He is the editor for the Academy of Osseointegration, contributing to the dialogue on issues important to implant dentistry, and the teacher at the New York Hospital, Dental and Oral Medicine Department of Prosthodontics. He joined the AO in 2014 and served on numerous committees before becoming the editor of the Academy News.
